Service Agreement
By engaging Antique Restoration By Michael Dickey for restoration services, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms apply to all restoration, refinishing, repair, and consultation services provided.
Service Scope and Estimates
All estimates are based on initial assessment and may be adjusted if additional work is discovered during the restoration process. We will contact you before performing any work beyond the original scope.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Pricing may change after this period due to material cost fluctuations or changes in project scope.
Payment Terms
- 50% deposit required to begin work
- Remaining balance due upon completion
- Payment accepted via check, cash, or bank transfer
- Late payment fees may apply after 30 days
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for accurate description of furniture condition and any known damage. Hidden damage discovered during restoration may require additional work and costs.
Clients must arrange pickup and delivery or pay for our delivery service. We are not responsible for damage during client-arranged transportation.
Liability and Warranty
We provide a 90-day warranty on our workmanship. This warranty covers defects in our restoration work but does not cover normal wear, misuse, or damage after delivery.
While we exercise extreme care, we cannot be held responsible for pre-existing structural weaknesses or hidden damage that may be revealed during restoration.
Storage Policy
Furniture not picked up within 30 days of completion notification may be subject to storage fees. After 90 days, unclaimed items may be considered abandoned and disposed of according to Alabama state law.
